Engineering Project Manager
- Summary:
- Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute, and oversee engineering projects in accordance with company objectives, timelines, and budgets.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and project teams.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation plans to ensure timely and efficient project execution.
- Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, including engineers, designers, and technicians, to achieve project milestones and objectives.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement corrective actions to mitigate project delays or deviations from plans.
- Coordinate with internal departments, external vendors, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution and adherence to quality standards.
- Communicate project status, updates, and key milestones to stakeholders and senior management through regular meetings, reports, and presentations.
- Conduct post-project reviews and evaluations to identify lessons learned, best practices, and areas for improvement.
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Proven track record of success in project management, with at least 3 years of experience leading engineering projects.
- Strong technical background in mechanical, electrical or construction with a solid understanding of engineering principles and practices.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
