Medical Science Liaison (MSL)
 
  • Overview:
We are assisting our pharmaceutical customers in finding Medical Science Liaison (MSL). The MSL serves as a key scientific resource and strategic partner for both internal and external stakeholders. They play a crucial role in the communication of scientific and medical information to healthcare professionals, researchers, and key opinion leaders (KOLs). The MSL acts as a bridge between the company and the medical community, providing scientific expertise and support to enhance understanding of the company's products and therapeutic areas.
 
  • Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with KOLs, academic centers, and other key stakeholders in the assigned therapeutic area(s).
  2. Serve as a scientific expert and resource for internal teams, including Medical Affairs, Clinical Operation, Marketing, and Sales.
  3. Provide medical and scientific support for product launches, including training for sales and marketing teams.
  4. Respond to inquiries from healthcare professionals and researchers regarding product information, clinical data, and disease state information.
  5. Facilitate and support investigator-initiated research (IIR) and other scientific initiatives.
  6. Attend and actively participate in medical conferences, advisory boards, and other scientific meetings.
  7. Keep abreast of scientific literature, clinical guidelines, and competitive landscape within the assigned therapeutic area(s).
  8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the development and execution of medical strategies and initiatives.
  9. Contribute to the development of scientific content for presentations, publications, and educational materials.
  10. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
 
  • Qualifications:
  1. Advanced degree in a scientific or healthcare-related field (PharmD, MD, PhD, or equivalent).
  2. Prior experience in a Medical Science Liaison role or healthcare-related position within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry preferred.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
  4. Demonstrated ability to interpret and communicate complex scientific data to HCP(s).
  5. Proven ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a cross-functional team environment.
  6. Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory and occasionally internationally.
  7. Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards and compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
