Medical Science Liaison (MSL)
- Overview:
- Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with KOLs, academic centers, and other key stakeholders in the assigned therapeutic area(s).
- Serve as a scientific expert and resource for internal teams, including Medical Affairs, Clinical Operation, Marketing, and Sales.
- Provide medical and scientific support for product launches, including training for sales and marketing teams.
- Respond to inquiries from healthcare professionals and researchers regarding product information, clinical data, and disease state information.
- Facilitate and support investigator-initiated research (IIR) and other scientific initiatives.
- Attend and actively participate in medical conferences, advisory boards, and other scientific meetings.
- Keep abreast of scientific literature, clinical guidelines, and competitive landscape within the assigned therapeutic area(s).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the development and execution of medical strategies and initiatives.
- Contribute to the development of scientific content for presentations, publications, and educational materials.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in a scientific or healthcare-related field (PharmD, MD, PhD, or equivalent).
- Prior experience in a Medical Science Liaison role or healthcare-related position within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and communicate complex scientific data to HCP(s).
- Proven ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a cross-functional team environment.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory and occasionally internationally.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards and compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
