Quality Director
 
  • Summary:
We are assisting our client, a pharmaceutical company, in finding a Quality Director. The Quality Director will be responsible for overseeing and managing the company's quality control processes, ensuring that all products and processes adhere to relevant regulatory standards and the company's quality benchmarks.
 
  • Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and manage the quality control team, ensuring efficient operations and ongoing professional development of the team.
  2. Develop, implement, and maintain the company's quality management system, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  3. Oversee and audit quality control processes during production, and provide recommendations for improvements to ensure product quality.
  4. Coordinate and communicate quality-related issues, collaborating with relevant departments to address quality concerns.
  5. Prepare for and participate in relevant audits, inspections, and certifications to ensure the company meets regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  6. Monitor and analyze quality metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement, and implementing corrective and preventive actions as needed.
  7. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in quality management, and integrate them into the company's quality processes.
 
  • Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as pharmacy, chemistry, biology, or related discipline. Advanced degree preferred.
  2. Minimum of 8 years of experience in quality management roles within the pharmaceutical industry, with a track record of success in implementing and maintaining quality management systems.
  3. Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and quality standards in the pharmaceutical industry, including FDA regulations and cGMP guidelines.
  4. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team and collaborate across departments.
  5. Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to analyze complex data and identify solutions to quality-related issues.
  6. Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to ensuring the highest standards of product quality and compliance.
  7. Certification in quality management (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean) is a plus.
